Do ants sleep?
YES! So this question came to me as I was driving back from the beach and was watching an ant wander aimlessly back and forth across the inside of my windshield. I think he eventually took a nap, as I lost track of him before we got home. Apparently, worker ants sleep in shifts, so it may appear that they are always working. Queen ants can sleep as much as nine hours a day
Was Delaware the first state?
YES! Delaware became a state on June 15, 1776, when the Delaware Assembly formally adopted a resolution declaring an end to Delaware’s status as a colony of Great Britain and establishing the three counties as an independent state under the authority of “the Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex Upon Delaware.” Delaware’s official statehood is listed as December 7, 1787.
